THE HICAS SYSTEM IN THIS CAR IS AIMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND RELACEMENT PARTS FOR. PUMP PARTS, P HOSES ETC ETC .|||sure, just find someone that wants it, try craigslist.org :)|||of course, just change out the transmission and disconnect unneeded drive shafts to lower the drag coefficient|||HICAS is 4-wheel steering, not drive.
Yes you can eliminate it.
There are a few different ways to do it (eliminator bars, etc), but the most thorough would be to change your rear subframe, PS pump, lines, reservior (and possibly rack) with a non-HICAS 240sx,
