How much would it cost for ball joints on all 4 wheels?

I have a 1998 Ford Explorer 2WD and it needs ball joints on all 4 tires. How much can I expect to pay for parts and labor at a shop?

Thanks!|||One web site you can use to do price checking on car repairs is in Driverside.com. They are still in beta but they have a ton of data on what car parts and repairs should cost. You can pick the specific car like a Ford Explorer to get the data.|||You're getting ripped off already, there's only ball joints on the front. They allow the spindle to turn and go through the suspension's range of motion. Don't deal with whoever told you that you need ball joints in the rear. I'd guess about $50 a piece for upper and lower, both sides $200. Labour would be 2-3 hours tops.|||atleast $150 in parts and depending on where you take it 2-4 hours labor at $70+ an hour
