|||I experienced this with my Suzuki 4 wheel drive when it was engaged in 4H or 4L. I think it's just the front axle being engaged and it's effect on the dynamics of turning. Just make sure you don't have 4H engaged when you don't need it. I am not sure about Nissan's new 4 wheel drive system, but traditionally, you don't want to use 4H on dry, hard pavement. It causes excessive wear to the 4x4 system.|||This happens on Front wheels of all 4 Wheel Drives
It freaked me out the first time I did It with 88 F-250 4x4.
The wheels are not meant to be cranked that tight in 4 wheel drive mode.
I can't repeat the explanation I heard many years ago, but I just try not to tight turn it anymore.
But If you phone The Nissan Service Dept, They will explain it.
It doesn't need fixing.|||That means It works!!!
