What and how much are the parts needed to build a skateboard?

Hi, I currently want to get into skateboarding and I want to know what are the parts (wheels, trucks) needed to build a skateboard, not including the deck. I would also like to know what the best price is for each set of something (like 2 trucks, 4 wheels) and where to buy them. Thanks!|||Try CCS.com. They are a great website and always offering ways to get free shipping. Wheels can have a big range of price. For a beginner you don't need to be too picky on your wheels, and they can be around 20$. Trucks can be pretty expensive but they don't have to be, buy plain(sometimes referred to as raw) colored trucks, and try Venture as a brand. Hardware is cheep, it is the nuts and bolts to keep your trucks on your deck. Two or three dollars and your ready to go. Your choice of allen or phillips. Go for one inch or longer. Bearings are inside your wheel, and make you keep rolling. My personal suggestion would be Bones Reds. 10-15$ Cheap, last very long, and are pretty fast. Grip tape is about 6-7 dollars, Mob and Jessup are good brands.

Above all else just remember that looks are not what matters, quality does. Dont spend an extra $20 on something because it has a skaters name on it, or because it has lots of colors and gimmicks. Read reviews also. And have fun skating :D
