Can you install a 4x4 Lift on a 2 wheel drive truck?

I have a 98 S10 2 wheel drive, I've been shopping for months for a lift and haven't had much luck, aside from fabtech and 3.5 inch lift nothing seems very reliable. So I'm wondering if I can use parts from a 4 wheel drive kit to lift my 2 wheel drive without running into problems?|||2 wheel drive S-10's have coil springs and A-arms for the front suspension. 4x4's have torsion bars. So, in a word, no.
