How would I know if I have a 4 wheel drive or a 2 wheel drive?

I have a 1995 ,ford 250, 7.5 engine I am trying to buy a center cap for my LF wheel. The parts person said something about an open center . And I just found out that ,The open cap is for the 4wd, the 2wd takes the solid one.

How would I know if I have a 2WD or a 4WD? I have the book where can I find this info? Is there something on the wheel I can view that will tell me? Like certain nuts and bolts visable where I can view it needs an open cap? Thank you so very much. I think this car mechanic once told me it was a 2WD but I am not sure|||go to the back of you truck and look under the truck...... do you see the rear end... the rear end looks like this

If your truck has those, you need the open center cap.|||the owners manual should point out additional control for 4 wheel drive.

in a practical way w e can simply look under vehicle. if a drive shaft comes form ALL wheels it is a 4x4 .if from only two wheels? its a two wheel drive.|||it should say on the truck usually.

I have a ford truck center cap, it might be the same one
