If auto. tranny no tow. If manual tranny I would guess ok. I see manual tranny. jeeps towed behind motor homes.|||towing any vehicle on 4 down is never the best scenerio
you can tow it as long as you have it set to neutral
if you have a seperate control for the 4x4, set that to neutral as well
best thing you can do is get a tow dolly if you plan to take a lot of places like this. this will also save you gas and tire wear, since only 2 tires from the dolly have to be dragged instead of 4 from the vehicle|||You mean towed while it is in gear, in 4 low???? NO! you never tow a vehicle in gear!!!|||Leave the Transfer Case in 2-wheel--you don't want to put it into neutral 'cause it'll lock it into 4 wheel drive.
Put the Transmission in neutral. You can now tow just like a 2wd.|||NO, better to put it on a flat bed. Even if it is p/t 4wd.|||dont know if its like the transfer case in the dodge dakota. but in mine it has a neutral buttton that you press and it dissenguages everything. you can put it in gear and it wont enguage. look in your owner manual and see the section on towing.|||sure, anything can be towed, all you got to do is pull the front drive shaft out. just a couple of easy to get to bolts and it comes right out. really not that bad of job. but, if your not very mechanically inclined, i would probally get a 16 car trailer. this keeps wear down on the vehicle.
